To attract investments in offshore wind power, the ministry proposed an exemption of marine area use fees during construction and a 50 per cent reduction in fees for the 12 years after operations begin.
The State Bank of Viet Nam has lowered the interest rate on short-term
deposits (one to six months) from 7 per cent to 6 per cent annually, a
move that would normally result in lower rates for loans from commercial
banks.
